In recent times, there has been an overwhelming availability of over 100 books in the market claiming to be helpful for JEE preparation. Consequently, it becomes crucial to identify the books that are truly beneficial and avoid wasting valuable time and mental energy on those that fall short.

Best Books for IIT-JEE

Important Books for JEE preparation ?

I prepared for JEE at Vibrant Academy, renowned as one of the top coaching institutes in the country. Our JEE preparation strategy involved initially focusing on solving the coaching institute's study material. Later, we gradually solve important books for JEE into our study routine.

Books serve a specific purpose in JEE preparation. While they may not be primarily intended for concept learning (except for theoretical topics), they are valuable for practicing and applying various concepts simultaneously. Before diving into books, it is important to solve the coaching material to establish a strong foundation in the core concepts.

In the JEE exam, questions often require the integration of multiple concepts. While many aspirants can handle questions based on individual concepts, to gain an advantage over others, it is crucial to excel in solving challenging problems that involve multiple concepts. It is not advisable to encounter such questions for the first time in the exam. By solving books, we become comfortable with these types of problems and improve our problem-solving abilities.

To sum up, books are an essential component of JEE preparation. They provide valuable practice opportunities and help us become proficient in applying multiple concepts. Incorporating books alongside coaching material contributes to a well-rounded preparation strategy for JEE aspirants.

Which books did you utilize and solve while preparing for JEE to enhance your chances of success?

In Vibrant Academy, books were an integral part of the classroom discussions, providing a significant advantage. However, it is worth noting that some other institutes may not have dedicated book discussions during class time, although students can seek clarification and ask questions outside of class or in doubt-clearing sessions.

During my JEE preparation, I found the following books helpful:

Physics: I solved I.E. Irodov and University Physics, along with studying the theory from Cengage.

Chemistry: For Physical Chemistry, I used Narendra Awasthi's book. For Organic Chemistry, M.S. Chauhan's book proved beneficial. Inorganic Chemistry was covered using V.K. Jaiswal's book.

Mathematics: I referred to the Black Book by Vikas Gupta, S.L. Loney's book, Hall and Knight's book, and Cengage for my Maths preparation.

These books played a crucial role in My JEE preparation journey and helped me develop a strong foundation in each subject.
